Joel Muasia

Finance & Admin Manager

Joel is the Finance & Admin manager and has served in the NGO world for over 24 years.

He is a founder associate and has served RRDO since its inception. He was privileged to serve as a volunteer at the initial establishment stages of this organization. He oversees all RRDO financial management functions as well as external audits. He ensures RRDO’s internal financial and administrative procedures are compliant with prevailing laws of Kenya.

He manages the organization’s project grants and partnership contracts /agreements as well as donor financial reporting. Joel is responsible for programme budget controls and advises the project team on financial matters.

Joel coordinates RRDO’s human resource management in consultation with the Executive Director and the Governance Board. He is the custodian of the organization’s policy instruments.

Prior to joining, Joel worked in a busy finance department with a leading National humanitarian NGO for fourteen (14) years in various capacities. He has vast working experience of over twenty-five (25) years in the NGO world with credible exposure in computerized financial systems. Joel is an effective team player, highly devoted to duty and ethics.

Joel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Newport University USA and has attained CPA K.

Joel is based in RRDO’s Head office in Nairobi, Kenya and often visits RRDO’s project field offices on oversight tasks.
