Finance & Administration Officer

Ibrahim is RRDO staff whose role/work is focused on leading, strategy overall day-to-day supervision of fabrication and production of energy saving stoves in Dadaab set up and take lead in implantation of all the energy activities including the provision of firewood to institutions. He also takes part in coordination meeting as well as adherence to RRDO policies and procedures. In realizing organization ambitions, Ibrahim works closely with different partners including UNHCR, host community and other agencies that operates in Dadaab and refugee leaders to build an appreciation as well as the interest of the organization.

 

Prior to joining RRDO Ibrahim worked with GIZ as Energy assistant based in Dadaab. His main task includes and not limited to overseeing the distributions of both the energy saving stoves and firewood to both the targeted beneficiaries and institutions. Ibrahim also worked with LWF as safety and security assistant. He also worked with CARE as school meals monitor. based in Dagahaley camp. He was closely working with all the head teachers in all the primary schools to make sure that every pupils gets what he/she is entitled to. Ibrahim also prepares the weekly and monthly sitreps.

 

Ibrahim holds a Diploma in business management from Nairobi aviation college in Nairobi Kenya.

 

Ibrahim is based in RRDO field office in Dadaab. He frequently visits IFO and Dagahaley camp for coordination and implementation of project activities.

Hassan is the Finance and Administration officer for all RRDO projects and the Officer in charge for UNHCR programs in Dadaab. Hassan has the responsibility of ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures, financial management, budgeting, accounting and  payments, financial reporting, budget monitoring prudent accountability for resources,  coordination, recruitment of staffs, annual procurement planning, internal control s developments,

Prior to joining RRDO, Hassan worked with CARE International in Kenya as a Logistics assistant officer in Dadaab Operations. He has a wealth of experience mostly in financial management, budget planning, Donor reporting, Audit, Monitoring and Evaluation, and project management and administration.

Hassan graduated from Mount Kenya University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance & accounting) and Islamic University in Uganda with Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies (Accounting option)

Hassan hold CPA

Hassan is based in RRDOs Dadaab Field Office and supports all other RRDO programs.
