Relief Project Coordinator

Mathew is the project Coordinator Sustainable food systems programme funded by World Food Programme (W.F.P). Mathew has the responsibility of ensuring; Overall accountability for resources and ensuring adherence of all staff to donor-established policies and procedures, Establishment of targeting criteria and distribution mechanism, Coordination among internal units and external agencies, Donor liaison, Recruitment of commodity management staff, Annual procurement planning, Systems development (including record-keeping, commodity accounting, internal control, post-distribution monitoring, and reporting), Beneficiary registration, Food Distribution site selection, Distribution and dispatch of commodity planning, Monitoring system design, Coordinating Recipient feedback and complaints mechanisms, Overall documentation and follow-up of all losses, Conducting warehouse inspections, Planning Monthly physical inventory, overseeing Weekly, Monthly Quarterly, Bi-annual, and annual reporting to the donor.

Prior to joining RRDO, Mathew worked with Tanduiya Investment ltd as a Marketing Officer, COSORE Consultancies ltd as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, and WomanKind Kenya as a Technical Assistant-Livelihood. On that regard, He has a wealth of experience mostly on Project management, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Agricultural Extension, customer service, Data handling and Analysis (STATA, SPSS, E-Views).

Mathew graduated from Moi University with a First Class Honours having pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and Resource management. He is currently a final year Post-graduate student pursuing a Masters of philosophy Degree in Agricultural Economics and resource Management.

Mathew is based in RRDOs Garissa Field Office Overseeing the activities of Sustainable Food Systems Programme.
